Review of Mellow Mushroom

While, I enjoy Mellow Mushroom's gluten free menu via delivery, when I go to the restaurant, the experience is typically problematic. Regarding beverages, I also have a fructose allergy and so I cannot drink ciders. Other gluten beverages have hit and miss availability and I typically have to ask a server what is available because they often advertise on the menu things they don't have. They frequently mix up orders. My daughters once ordered a pizza with a barbecue base and ended up with a buffalo sauce base. My youngest burned her mouth. And then there's the delay when you have to re-order which is not easy with small children. The last time I was there, I ordered a white bean chili. They served their mushroom soup which was full of gluten. I was so sick and couldn't eat the rest of the evening. Taking the cost off of my receipt was inadequate given that it ruined my time out with my son.
