They have some gluten-free bread and many vegan options. It was very good my boyfriend took me here after not being able to find anywhere to eat or really even where to begin making food differently now! This was a great night food was amazing. They even had VEGAN RANCH! I had gluten-free bread with chicken lettuce and tomato. as well as a side salad with vegan ranch :)! I hope this order makes someone as happy as it made me

Absolutely delicious grilled cheese with tomato and a side watermelon salad. Huge portions. Loved it!

Asked for the GF menu and was told just order with gluten free bun. Server was condescending and I got sick. Wouldn’t recommend to any celiac.

Food is great. Staff is friendly. Good cider selection.
this restaurant is amazing with glutenfree!!! super friendly staff.....very knowlegable. 100% would recommend
The staff was able to make my favorite sandwich by replacing the pierogi with mashed potatoes!
I have celiac disease.... I do not have a sensitivity. The melt does have gluten free bread, however, there is not a dedicated grill or fryer. They serve you fries or "chips" however they are deep fried in the same fryer that the sandwiches are batterer and fried in. Also, my stomach was bothering me later on and I kept having to go to the bathroom. If you are pretty sensitive to gluten. I wouldn't eat here.
Very in tune with allergies and Celiac. My 7 year old loved her grilled cheese. The Cedar Rd. Melt does not have a dedicated fryer. Super friendly staff. Great Cleveland decor!

The food here was TOO good! I rarely eat sandwiches any more, and their gluten-free bread was the best I've ever had. They seem conscientous and knowledgeable about separate dishes, etc. Instead of fries, I had a side of cole slaw. I wouldn't call it the healthiest place to eat at, but it sure was delicious and different. Portions are huge, so either share or expect to have leftovers. :)
I'm gluten free and dairy free; never thought a grilled cheese restaurant would be my go to restaurant. Staff is very knowledgeable and I've never had a problem. They don't have a dedicated fryer so can't do the fries (they do have alternatives though) but everything else has a dedicated gf cooking area. If you don't like anything on their small menu they do have a large list of ingredients to choose from so you can build your own sandwich.
They do have gluten free bread and a very limited choice of sandwiches. How ever the staff is very friendly and understanding of gluten sensitivity. They make sure your order is prepared on clean and one time use services. They also have an allergen list.

I was really cautious about eating here, but it turned out great! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and talked to the kitchen to let them know I was a Celiac. I had a half of the BBQ chicken sandwich and the creamy slaw. Both were excellent and as a pepper lover, the spicy slaw was a real treat! They had a large, separate gluten free menu.

Dedicated GF menu but cross contamination is still possible. Lots of choices on the menu. Service was a bit slow. I’ve only eaten here once and didn’t get sick.

I’ve eaten here safely about 8-10 times, usually having it for both lunch and dinner when at Cedar Point. It’s very tasty and I definitely enjoy the food and having somewhere to eat safely. They have a gluten free fryer, so I’m able to have fries, which I enjoy. The sandwiches are served as doubles, so you really only need to order a “half” which is actually one full sandwich. Just make sure to double check the hours because during the summer season it closed on the early side and my understanding is that for the fall season it’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays.

I have eaten here twice and had a positive experience both times. I ordered a sandwich and one time had Cole slaw and the second time a house salad. They noted that I was Celiac when ordering and I felt fine after eating. If I returned and felt like I had a server who was new or not as knowledgeable, after these experiences I would ask to speak to a manager because they really do seem to care about serving gluten free food safely. There is a statement at the bottom of their GF menu about precautions they take.

Ordered a Cleveland cheesesteak on gluten free bread and the fries were made in a dedicated fryer. Great experience!
