We are not crowd people so our visit was quite chaotic. We did not eat in the restaurant but chose to go to pick up some fresh apples (they were out of the snack kind but had a large variety of peaches).
The cider is fantastic. They also offer gluten free jerky in their shop.
Any of their canned goods do not show GF or detailed ingredient lists. I didn’t chance trying anything especially after one of the workers couldn’t confirm GF.
Other produce and honey can be purchased in the store.
We probably won’t go back simply because of our problem with crowds but their fresh peaches were delicious.

Great ciders made right here. The flaming hot apple salsa is awesome as well! I’m celiac. The rest of the family found gluten items to enjoy also.

They only have gf buns as far as options. I did the BLT with chips. Had no issues.
They offer gluten free buns for their sandwiches. I had a turkey club with apple sauce. Not very knowledgeable on celiac safe practices but, I asked them to change their gloves, and not use the same area, plate, cutting board that any gluten had touched. They assured us they would and I didn’t get sick!
Cider tasting room all made in house with multiple on draft. Excellent ciders all GF. Can't eat here, but you can drink there so 5 stars.

Traveling can be dangerous for Celiacs. We were on our way home from our mountain vacation when we stopped here for some souvenirs and some more yummy apples for the road. They have a restaurant on site and though they do not have a GF menu the manager was very knowledgeable about Celiac. She said usually their fries are GF but they had already dropped battered chicken in the fryer that morning. She allowed my daughter to sub fruit for the bread without any fee. The kitchen cleaned all of the utensils and prep surfaces to prevent cross contamination as best they could. She had the grits, eggs, fruit, bacon, and cider. Since my daughter did not get sick I would say that Mercier Orchards is Celiac Friendly.
Yes
They have GF cider and hard cider. Much of the food items for sale are not GF. There was a small selection of GF items you can bake at home from a box. In a perfect world they would have a GF apple fritter made in a dedicated space. That would be a dream. :)
