Went for lunch. Had carnitas tacos and a Paloma. Staff warned me about salsas that had beer in them
Yes
Staff was extremely knowledgeable. Be sure to speak to them about what you want and be clear that you are celiac, they will explain everything. Most salsas are gf but some are made with beer so be cautious of that. The food and drinks were amazing and atmosphere is super cute. I didn’t get sick at all and I am very sensitive. Wish I lived here so I could go all the time.
Yes
This place is always on point, but last night was the best experience ever. After informing our waitress that I can’t have gluten, she immediately went through all the items that can be made gluten free. My husband loves chips and guacamole, and she suggested bringing me some warm corn tortillas so I could enjoy it as well. (The chips are cooked in the same oil as the churros which she cautioned.)
For dinner I had the fish tacos and my husband ordered the enchiladas Rojas w/ chicken. They even made his dish gluten free (again, mostly related to the oil and pans used during prep) so that we could share. They were also very clear on which salsas and sauces were safe.
It’s already one of our favorites, both before and after my diagnoses, but I love it even more after last night.
Yes
really nice. but explained although they'll use separate oil they don't have a gf prep area
No
Very knowledgeable staff regarding Gluten. Have eaten here many times with no issues just be sure to talk to your server because there are foods with unexpected Gluten, for example their salsa has beer in it, they do take extra precautions for you and will guide you in the safe direction.
Their tacos and margaritas are awesome. Just steer clear of the Mexican beer-based salsa.
Really delicious, and the server was knowledgeable about gluten. There were a few things I couldn't have (mole, chips, one of the salsas) but what I did have was great.
