Really terrible experience and paying for it now. The server I had was the most arrogant person I have ever been served by. I asked for the souvalaki meat to be wrapped in tinfoil to be cooked on the grill because when I called ahead the lady told me they heat the pitas on the grill. The surver literally waved his hand in my face and said don't worry about it celiacs come here all the time and was extremely rude.. When I raised the point of the pita being cooked on the grill he told me its straight from Greece so I have nothing ti worry about ... I'm pretty sure he said nothing to the kitchen and I'm in a lot of pain right now and I was almost falling asleep at the table while I was eating from the fatigue. Maybe you can eat the salad at this restaurant but if you are celiac please be aware that you shouldn't have anything on the grill and go and talk to the kitchen staff yourself and don't let the server bully you!

Great service, great food! We arrived at 5:30 without reservations tonight, a Tuesday. Greeted with smiles and we were able to enjoy an outdoor table in the shade..perfect on a hot day. Our orders were taken quickly, water poured right away and we were enjoying our meals in no time at all. The GF vegetarian moussaka was delicious, as was the fresh Greek salad before that. A young man ensured our water glasses remained full and everyone on staff was pleasant and cheerful! As we left the restaurant we noted there was a huge lineup waiting to get into the restaurant. I guess we were very lucky to have arrived when we did. This is the second time I have eaten here, as I do not live in Toronto. I can’t wait to visit again!

A friendly Greek restaurant on the Danforth. The majority of dishes are gluten free and are clearly marked on the menu. Our waiter was knowledgeable about Celiac issues and even let me know when I inadvertantly ordered a dip that was not GF and offered a substitute. Food is tasty and is available either as a wide variety of small dishes (ideal for sharing) or you can order standard entrees. A nice selection of wine is available also. Reccommended.

Love this place, gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. Also offer gf substitutions (ex. Cucumber slices with dips instead of pita).

This restaurant was featured on "You Gotta Eat Here". I have been going here for years. The servers are knowledgable about what I can and can't have. They give me cucumbers instead of pita for the hummus and other dips. I almost always get the Chicken Souvlaki dinner.
