I know buffets are controversial in the celiac community. But we had a buy one get one coupon, and an expensive dinner planned tomorrow, so we couldn’t pass up a lunch buffet. I was pleasantly surprised at the options and safety. All gluten free items are labeled, and like items are with each other at stations (meat station, fruit station, seafood, etc.). I mostly had meats and potatoes along with fruit and some yogurt; I wasn’t feeling seafood for brunch and I didn’t want to wait in the omelet line. They did have some made-to-order pancakes but I didn’t check if they did gluten free. Because of the separation of stations, I felt safe getting items because the risk of cross contamination was low. I didn’t check the dessert table, but I think I saw they had ice cream. The thing I wish they had were gluten free breads, but they could have and I just didn’t check.
