The food was good, and the service was good. However, when we first entered we almost left, because it had a really bad smell. The water, as previous reviewer said, is undrinkable it was literally the worst tasting water I've ever had. We stayed and as mentioned the food was good, and I did not get sick, but it's hard to recommend with the smell and taste of the water.

The food was quite good, as always, but the table water was undrinkable. They need to use the filter. I think it is beginning to effect the cooking a bit. The waiter was well aware of celiac and gluten-free needs. We felt very safe.

These guys do a great job serving excellent gf food with excellent customer care. Several gf desserts as well. The peach cobbler was great. Don’t let the cheesy strip mall fool you. I’m quite sensitive and had no problem, as I’m posting this 24 hours later.

Don't let the simple space fool you...the food was delicious. They have dedicated gluten-free kitchen space, fryer, and even dedicated dishes and utinsels. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten-free. I had the California wrap and home chips my husband had the Reuben both delicious. The table nexr ti us was raving about the Asian chicken tacos. We didn't have room to try the gf desserts.

Fantastic - the service is 5 star as is the food. We had several of the burgers, the Reuben and the Cuban sandwiches. It’s a true Cuban sandwich. They make their own breads (wonderful) and desserts. We ordered the gf Heath cheesecake (they use boarshead cheese) and the gf peach cobbler. Both were out of this world. As was the service. This is a definite stop whether your celiac, gluten intolerant or not. Can’t wait to go back :)

Amazing! Best Ciliac friendly place I have been to in a long time! Almost everything on the menu I was able to eat. Dedicated fryer. Bread was great quality, not too moist or too crumbly. Cheesecake was the best I've had in years. Will definitely be back and will certainly recommend to others.

We visit this restaurant every time we are in town. Tried to go for dinner but they had just changed hours. Went the next day for lunch and had a wonderful Philly cheesesteak on their home made bread. It was delicious! Took home a slice of key lime cheesecake that was perfect.

This place is FANTASTIC. I read the reviews for it on here when researching our vacation to the area. I’m so glad we tried it. It’s a small restaurant in a strip mall. Don’t let that deter you! We have never had such caring, attentive and knowledgeable service in a restaurant. My daughter has celiac and vacationing can be a challenge with gluten free dining, but she was treated like a queen and had the most delicious meals. We all LOVED our food. We loved it so much we went for dinner two nights in a row! Burgers, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, fish tacos, pasta Alfredo, Cuban sandwich, all so good, and the FRIES! We love this place!!!

The staff was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and the GF menu is extensive and great! Don’t let the strip-mall exterior scare you off! Dedicated fryer, nice selection of sandwiches, soups, and main dish meals. Homemade bread. Chocolate lava cake, fried cheesecake...all gluten free. I wish we were local and could come back more often.

When I told waiter I was GF, he genuinely said “oh good! We pride ourselves in being able to serve the community in this way.” Had mahi tacos on corn tortillas with side slaw salad. Tasty. Would definitely come back if in area knowing they are committed to serving our needs. Has sign on front door requesting no outside food be brought in due to being a GF friendly business. LOVED THAT!

I do not recommend this place for breakfast. First, it doesn’t open until 10, so obviously not their strong point. They were out of GF toast for my husband, but his egg scramble was good. I ordered scrambled eggs and got an omelet. The egg was paper thin, but the veggies were good. My muffin was mushy and the strawberry jelly tasted rancid. The chips (which are strange to serve with breakfast) were burnt tasting.

As a Celiac, it can be difficult to travel and find safe, gluten-free options. But when I discovered Mi Island on FMGF, it took away all worries! The owners were so kind, the food was totally safe and incredibly delicious! I have other food allergies as well and they were so accommodating and amazing! Highly recommend getting anything with the house-made peanut sauce, it’s delicious!

Great find!!! Food was good all around and they took gluten free very seriously (wouldn't even bring it out at the same time with non-GF orders). They even had multiple GF bread options! Wow! Just wow. All of the food was delicious, and incredible gluten free options. You know a place is doing it right when they specifically list what ISN'T gluten free. Chef Rick came out and personally delivered all the GF food, acknowledging it was prepared separately. All but one of the desserts are GF, and just about every entree had GF options. Personal touch here. It felt like we were dining with friends.
