Not knowledgeable about GF. Delicious food and very kind staff, but if you have celiac’s it is not safe to eat here unfortunately.

This is a mixed review for gluten free diners of Mi Patria. Mi Patria has great service and very friendly staff. When called they indicated that 90% of their menu is gluten free, but that really is not the case. The vast majority of the dishes contain gluten items or items fried in the same fryer as gluten items. As such there are very limited choices for those who MUST not consume gluten. This information is not readily offered and I only discovered it by asking. When I asked why I was told that the menu was mostly gluten free, I was told that it was the case for people choosing to avoid gluten. That said, there are a very few dishes that are GF and what I tried (a pulled pork dish with rice and a potato patty appetizer) were very tasty. So for those who do not need to truly avoid all gluten this is a great place. For those who CANNOT have gluten, it is a pleasant restaurant with a few options. I only write this review because it is so disappointing to hear that one can order from almost the whole menu only to find that it is a more typical experience for celiac folks where there may be very few options. If you happen to like those options, this is a great place. If not, then it might not be the place for you
Don't have a dedicated fryer, but make up for that with a lot of options for GF. Had the Plantain Cakes appetizer - FANTASTIC!!!! The staff is very helpful and the service was quick.

most of the items on the menu are gluten free and the waiters will double check for you to make sure what you want is okay.
