It’s a joyful dining experience as a celiac when there are so few gluten containing things on a menu that they mark those as (g) rather than what is GF! So much really great options on the brunch, and dinner menus —we went a small plates route rather than entrees so we could sample a lot of things! Here’s what stood out most to my boyfriend and I:
-The fish tacos were 10/10 — best part of the meal
-Guacamole and chips 10/10, perfectly seasoned. You’ll be tempted to keep munching away but pace yourself to save room for all the deliciousness ahead!
-The duck containing app (can’t remember the name) was really delicious though I personally would order it again with less sauce or sauce on the side as it overpowered the star of the show, the sweet and savory duck filling!
-The yellowfin ceviche was fresh and flavorful
-The shrimp cocktail dish wasn’t quite what we expected. Still tasty but more flavorful and spicy than we were looking for.
The service was wonderful and the views of the river from the top floor are worth the trek up the stairs! Highly recommend, felt super safe as a sensitive celiac and very excited to be able to dine somewhere with so many safe options, to the point where stressing “celiac/gluten allergy” *eye roll* barely felt necessary.
