Not allergy friendly. I’ve heard some good things about Mia’s being able to accommodate gluten free diets. I went in today with my family for lunch. I asked about their gluten free options and it took three people to help find a very basic allergy menu. That’s right, not a gluten free menu, just a list of their allergens in each dish, not each item.
When I had a basic question, the four people at the counter had no idea how to help me. I asked, “who here knows about the allergy menu?” And all four kept looking at each other and couldn’t not help me or get me someone who could. So I handed the menu back to them and told my family I just wouldn’t eat. They decided to walk out with me, even after they had already ordered.
The lady that was ringing us up apologized. She was new and I understand her not knowing what to do.
