Always good chicken, will miss this place. Had plans to go there the other day and just found out they closed. Hope they reopen soon.

The chicken tasted over brined - too salty and very stringy/chewy from the brine. The truffle Mac and cheese was completely bland and mushy. No cheese flavor, and no salt. I was excited for GF fried chicken and Mac and cheese but this was an expensive disappointment. Would not go back.

really bad, chicken was under cooked, still a bit red, so I threw it out and the gravy is made with water and alot of water

Great fried chicken!! Corn tortilla are very tasty, we be coming back!

Love the Brussel sprout tacos. The corn tortillas are thick and almost like flour. Amazing food and great service.

Service was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was a bit cold, but ok. The sauces were on point. Dedicated gluten free fryers are a no fail. Chicken tenders were tender even cold. There is an upcharge for gluten free buns though.

I went hoping to get Celiac friendly breakfast, and the lady said they use the same area to heat the regular flour tortillas. She offered to use aluminum foil if I wanted. They only serve the fried chicken for lunch-- not breakfast-- so I couldn't try that either. Left without getting a meal.

Extensive GF menu and knowledgeable folks working there. Fried chicken tenders were great. The brussel sprouts were fantastic! They have GF buns on request and homemade corn tortillas. The smoked cheddar mac and cheese is all GF all the time.

Best gluten free (celiac safe) meal deal in Austin! They only do GF FRIED chicken with dedicated fryers and have Homemade GF Mac & Cheese (yes that's fried chicken and Mac&Cheese all at one place!) The owners recently just introduced a new Menu that put the gluten free community as their main priority. No uncharges here! Just fried crunchy delicious chicken tenders for less than $6 (but I would recommend the combo for $8 with your choice of mashed potatoes and gravy or the best tasting waffle fries.) The white BBQ sauce and jalapeño ranch were the perfect compliments to the amazing cage free natural chicken. You can actually feel normal ordering and are rest assured it's safe. If you're next meal isn't at Mighty Bird, you"ll be upset you didn't find them sooner! Thank you Mighty Bird for taking such a serious stance on gluten sensitivity and giving us back one of our favorites!

Love it

Very happy with the breakfast tacos made on corn tortillas. They have GF salad options. GF chicken tortilla soup and all their street tacos are GF. Good for a quick bite. I also really like the quality of the corn tortillas they are made fresh on site.

Employees not knowledgeable at all (other than breakfast tacos). Weren't sure if chicken or corn tortillas were cross contaminated.

The Road Trip taco is awesome...Mighty Bird sauce has a nice kick. :-) The Chicken Al Pastor taco is yummy too - the pineapple salsa is delish! I love Mexican rice, but I was a lil disappointed in theirs. :-(
