Mikado Hibachi & Sushi

They offer gluten free hibachi entrees…no appetizers and given that no one but the manager could answer my questions I didn’t even ask about sushi. The manager was nice but that doesn’t make me feel safe and assure I won’t get sick. The hibachi entree comes with salad, soup, noodles and vegetables and I got filet. For the salad, I received plain lettuce and a bottle of low sodium soy sauce with “gluten free” handwritten on the lid. Pretty gross and after one bite I didn’t feel comfortable with the sauce anyway. I wasn’t given the soup nor was anything mentioned or offered in place of it. The noodles were obviously not feasible and I was charged extra for fried rice which turned out to just be rice, no egg or veggies in it. The portion of vegetables with my filet were less than half of what the rest of the family received at the table. The food was prepared in the back so I know there wasn’t cross contamination from the table side grill at least. I got to join a family birthday dinner but definitely a sad/stressful experience. Would not go back
