We did dinner here last night and it was awesome! I am celiac and notified them of my gluten allergy. They used gluten free soy sauce for the whole table to avoid cross contamination. It was fun and food was great! 10/10 from me!

Worst experience ever had reservations got to restaurant and they were closed for the next month. This is absolute bullshit!! If I could give a zero star I would.

Did hibachi with our celiac son. They cooked with and served only GF soy sauce for the whole table to ensure safety.

Great experience at Mikado/Kasai. The two restaurants are in the same building and seem to share a menu. My husband has Celiac and they provided him with a separate gluten free menu. They took great care to make sure our order was separated (I’m not GF) and they had delicious maki and fried rice options for him. We also requested GF tamari soy sauce. Would definitely eat here again! The sushi rolls were delicious!

Make sure you watch carefully, as sometimes they go on autopilot and use normal soy sauce. However, once we said something they were very careful

Had a wonderful dinner at Mikado a couple nights ago! I was nervous coming to Cancun that my options were going to be limited as there were very few options listed on the app. I began to do further research and starting making calls and came across Mikado. This is a hibachi style restaurant and both the waiter and chef took my condition seriously. While it is a shared table with hibachi style, the chef, Fernando (who was terrific!!!) cooked my food first in gluten free soy sauce and served me before he started to prepare the rest of the table's food. I had no issues whatsoever and would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Cancun.
