Mikata Japanese Steakhouse

Ordered gf and they gave me tamari on the side and told me they could not cook my rice on grill because of soy sauce. The food was so good.

Not knowledgable about gluten free. Two servers didnt even know what it meant. I settled for plain steamed rice, edamame and salmon sushi. Not planning to return.

Today was the first time my husband and I went to Mikata. All the sushi was delicious. The sushi chef is very knowledgeable about serving gluten free sushi. He made homemade special gluten free sauces for me. He rocks! The server was very attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.
