Mike's Cafe and Oyster Bar

Food was good but nothing outstanding. We got 2 steamer platters- one with seasoning and one without. My husband with celiacs ate the one with no seasoning and felt good after. He did not eat the andouille sausage that came with the meal.

No gluten free menu, but I got a Greek salad with vinaigrette and blackened shrimp and it was DELICIOUS. No issues. Not celiac, but EXTREMELY sensitive to cross contamination.

There weren’t many options for gluten free but the waitress & chef were very accommodating & understanding. I had steamed shrimp without seasoning. I have celiac & had no issues.

I would give zero stars because they have no gluten free menu. When I called and asked about gluten free options, I was told they do not have any.

Mike's Cafe and Oyster Bar does not have a dedicated gluten free menu, and the options for gluten free are very limited. My wife ordered the steamed oysters since there is very little chance of cross contamination with steamed oysters. They steamed oysters were "ok" hence the three stars.
