I have never seen TWO GF options on a menu before! This was mind blowing to me and so fun to read! They had the natural gluten free and then, we can make it gluten free. Kudos to Mimosa Restaurant in Brookfield, Wi.
I spoke with the manager and she told me they have trained their cooks, they have a completely separate side of grill reserved for celiacs. Yes, all equipped with separate utensils. Wow, talk about impressive! I felt completely safe. My pancakes even came with a toothpick to indicate they were gluten free.
The pancakes were good, they appeared made from scratch. A couple of bites tasted heavy on the baking soda though. The blueberries were big and perfectly added to dough. I also enjoyed the WI maple syrup, fresh and natural.
I would def eat here again and highly recommend it as an option if you are in the Milwaukee area, Brookfield is a quick nearby drive.

One of Brookfield’s best Bfast & Lunch spots. Many ingredients used are local/farm-to-table. Great prices. Be prepared to look for a parking spot & table wait ( but it’s worth it!). Going to their website you can either get on their waiting list electronically for groups of eight or less, or reservations for nine or more. Traditional Wisconsin breakfast and bar – Bloody Mary’s are their specialty. >Great for celiac! < >Separate Grill and Kitchen areas< Knowledgeable and conscientious staff. ***LOTS*** of choices! Taste is fabulous. Potato dishes are to die for. Bacon is perfectly prepared and thick! Older, comfortable atmosphere (think along the lines of a bright WI Supper-Club-ish layout).

A delicious selection of farm-to-table, locally sourced dishes, clearly labeled and served by knowledgeable staff. I love this place. Food doesn’t taste ultra processed, it’s got tons of flavor and portion sizes are great. They label the dishes with a little gluten free toothpick and are careful about cross contamination. Several dishes can be modified to be gluten free - for instance, I get the eggs Benedict served over potatoes instead of an English muffin. Yum!

Fast service. Servers were very aware of celiac and super friendly about it. They made the cinnamon roll pancake special GF! Home made!

Long awaited eggs Benedict, worth the wait. Knowledgeable staff, many precautions in place. I’ve eaten there twice without any problem, except my wait to return! Go, and enjoy.
