Our server was very helpful. Had the shrimp with snow peas and white rice. Made sure they labeled it "allergy" for the kitchen. It came out separate from the rest of my party's food, which I appreciated. Felt great, definitely did not get glutened. Wouldn't feel comfortable getting much else on the menu, because of cross-contamination, though.

Wei was my server, he was very knowledgeable and informative about the small amount of items I could eat. There were two chicken dishes avail, I had a chicken dish with veggies, it had no soy sauce and no oyster sauce, it was super yummy.

My experience in March was terrible. Waitress was impatient with my questions while ordering and practically yelled at me when I tried to confirm my suspicious-tasting food was gluten free. Spent my night in the hotel puking.

Mentioned Celiac when I made our reservation and called to follow up a day before. Our reservation was highlighted and the host (seemed like part of management team) knew we had “an allergy” and told us no problem, introduced us to knowledgeable server and said not to worry. We had GF chicken fried rice and chicken and vegetable dish. We would go back.

Based on review I went to dinner. I had to order with a waitress who showed me 3 chicken dishes I could order. There is NO Gluten free designations. All the food is cooked in soy in the morning. So if you want chicken and vegetables this place is for you. Otherwise do not expect authentic Chinese food gluten free it just won’t happen.

A friend and I spent a day in Chinatown Chicago, and she really wanted to go to a dumpling restaurant. I researched restaurants with good feedback for gluten free, and found reviews from other Celiacs on MingHin. We went there for lunch (I recommend going early or late for lunch if you have Celiac, as they get very busy.) I told the waiter I had Celiac and needed gluten free food. The waiter didn't blink an eye, showed me the GF designations on the menu items, and assured me the food would be kept safe. When our food was brought out, mine was on a separate tray. I did not get sick, and the food was delicious. I'll go back again.
