Review of Minsky's

I should preface this by saying that I have never had a good experience here. The first two times I ate here, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt with regards to cross contamination. The lingering effects of a little bit of cc (namely, the GI upset that sets in within a day or so and sticks around for a while) are about the same as the effects of eating a greasy pizza.

The last time I ate here, I almost wound up in the hospital. That's how sick I was--my doctor recommended I be hospitalized. There were a bunch of mistakes with the order to begin with (my pizza was the wrong size, brought me the wrong beverage), but the crust didn't SEEM like a wheat crust, so I ate it. My conclusion, based on what happened, is that either it was a wheat crust, or it was severely mishandled. Both of which are pretty unacceptable.

I've never been to another Minsky's (so I don't know if they're usually this bad), but I sure stay clear of this one now, and I'm literally afraid to eat at any other pizza place since the training has clearly done absolutely nothing. If you're avoiding gluten for other reasons, you might risk it. But if you're celiac (or if you have bad reactions to gluten), get your pizza fix elsewhere.
