Mint Asian Cafe & Sushi

So, this used to be a great place for sushi. However, this time the serving staff was not helpful as to what was safe and not safe, also not good at explaining anything to my 88-year old mom who is staying with meAs I have a big work thing this week and couldn’t afford getting sick, we decided not to chance it and left. It’s been a while since I was here - have had sushi several times through the years and always was waited on by someone who knew what they were doing. Only other place for sushi is in Overland Park which is a bit of a drive.

This is one of my family’s favorite restaurant in the area! They are very knowledgeable and are careful to keep gf items separate and without any contaminants! We go here consistently and it’s delicious each time!!

*** Please write honest reviews so others have up to date information on choices*** I don't think I would go back for anything except sushi. the hibachi prepared food is bland and they only have gf soy sauce but won't cook it with the gf soy sauce. sushi was good though.

They understand gluten-free and are very knowledgeable and accommodating. They often have San-J gf tamari, though I take my own coconut aminos usually. They're very friendly and the sushi is always good.

Has always accommodated my gluten free requests, just be sure to tell them you're gluten free and request GF soy sauce. Everyone is always very nice and the sushi is excellent!
