They have a GF menu, GF soy sauce, and put the GF items on a separate plate from the non-GF items. The endamane was a generous portion. The staff understood Celiac and GF needs. They provided GF soy sauce.

Really liked this place. Tiny little stop mall sushi- good gf choice’s and tamari. Server seemed knowledgeable and items are marked in menu. If you like sashimi they have great local fish.

As a celiac, there aren’t many completely safe dining options on Maui. Miso Phat has gluten free options on their menu, but they also went above and beyond and adapted non-gluten free menu items to be safe for me to eat. They also took steps to limit the risk of cross contamination and overall ensured that I was able to have a great, and safe, dining experience.

Labeled GF options, however, you cannot get any of the specialty or baked rolls. Was a bit disappoint that only one specialty roll could be made GF.

Many choices on the menu. We had the spicy scallop and spicy hamachi rolls. Fish was good but sauce was kind of flat and not very spicy. We will probably stick with nigiri next time. My celiac daughter had no reactions.

Ordered the ahi poke bowl. While it was good and the fish was amazing, it was lacking any type of sauce or flavoring beyond giving me tamari on the side which was disappointing.

Ordered rolls and they were fine. Did not get sick. Add 50% to the estimated wait time for a to go order. They don't have a system to let you know when it's ready so you just get to mill about for 30ish minutes after the original estimate. Wasn't really worth it, but there's not much in walking distance.

Marked items in menu. When I ordered they also typed it into the order. Did not modify any items not already marked in menu. Had tamari when asked. Excellent food!!!

There are not any specialty gluten free rolls, (and refused to try to change them in order to insure contamination wasn't an issue) but the sushi quality is so good that you don't need a specialty roll. They do have Tamari (gluten free soy sauce) upon request.
