We haven’t had an opportunity to eat here for a couple of years so I was very cautious and watched the food prep today. I’m glad I did because they were close to giving me food that was cross contaminated from their food line because the Mac and cheese had spilled over into the green beans and Cole slaw. When I pointed it out, they were very apologetic and made sure to get fresh sides and had their gloves changed. It wasn’t crowded so I had the opportunity to watch to make sure my food was safe. They have a dedicated fryer for the French fries, which are delicious, so just make sure that they have put on fresh gloves before they touch the frozen fries. The staff is friendly and willing to please as they do pride themselves on offering a gluten free menu. I think they might have been a bit out of practice though. My meal was great-pulled pork with smoky mountain sauce, green beans and fries. I was very appreciative of their cooperation and care in keeping me safe as I do have Celiac. They even packed my food in a separate bag from the rest of our take out order.
