I saw Mission BBQ's ratings on here and decided to go. I called beforehand, as is my usual procedure, and spoke to the manager (Heather), who carefully detailed the specifics of the restaurant and added that they have many regulars who also have celiac disease and are familiar with how to avoid cross contamination. Heather personally prepared our food and brought it to us. All of their sauces except one are gf, but Heather also let us know about a sugar free sauce (Alabama White) that was perfect for my diet. The entire experience was lovely and the manager was very attentive. I have only one complaint. We ordered a side of collard greens and I stirred it before eating only to find a noodle lurking inside. The manager was very apologetic, and replaced the side with one that hadn't yet been on the line. Luckily, I caught it before I ate, but it may be helpful for other celiacs to request that their sides be taken from containers that haven't yet been on the line, to minimize cross-contamination.
