Fantastic bbq restaurant. As a family with young kids, we appreciate casual restaurants with good food. Service type is counter walk-up then find a table. Employees were knowledgeable & helpful with gf items, which is most of the menu! Gf or not, the food is delicious. Fall off the bone ribs, flavorful meat, and a good variety of sauces. I appreciated that they had a salad as well; as I know sometimes it can be hard to find healthy options at bbq places.

The meat was tasty, but a little overpriced. Went there specifically as reviews indicated a dedicated gluten-free fryer for the fries. I specified my gluten intolerance when ordering but still had a bad reaction after eating the fries.

Excellent BBQ and selection of sauces. When you place a gluten free order they let the kitchen staff know so that they can change gloves and clean the workspace prior to making your meal. They also have a dedicated fryer for fries.

One of our favorite spots since they have a dedicated fryer for their fries. All the food we have tried has been great with no issues.

Mission BBQ did an awesome job honoring GF. Separate menu, knowledgeable staff and knew what to do for GF.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

All of the staff I spoke with were knowledgeable, and ask if they were not sure. I had pulled chicken and fries (dedicated fryer!). Memphis Belle sauce is my fave. Don’t Mess with TX sauce as it is not GF. All of the other sauces are, though.

Super knowledgeable staff and well-versed in celiac, staff has family member with celiac diagnosis. Has a dedicated GF fryer for fries. Very lovely experience and people here. Tastes great :)

My daughter has celiac and has had no reaction. The employees make sure to communicate that there is a gluten issue when preparing her food. Dedicated fryer for fries!

This is my second visit to Mission in 6 months. I don't recall what I ordered in December bit it didn't bother me. This trip I ordered the smoked hamburger without a bun (no gf option) with mashed potatoes. This will be a regular visit when I'm in DE.
