I specified gluten, dairy, and egg free for pickup, and the hostess was diligent enough to tell me that I couldn’t have the salad, which contains eggs, and gave me miso soup, but gave me regular soy sauce that contains wheat. I didn’t see it until I got home, so I was disappointed. The sushi was very good but it’s hard to eat with no soy sauce.
Great food and wonderfully pleasant cooks. They love to joke around and stuff. They also have gluten free soy sauce but they cook all the food on the same surface and i didn’t not realize that they used regular soy sauce in addition to gluten free soy sauce on the surface so my food was cross contaminated. If your going to get any food off the hibachi grill you need to make sure EVERYONE uses the soy sauce because I did not realize and got sick shortly after. Other wise they also have a regular restaurant section where you can order other Japanese entrees. They still contaminated my food even tho I said I had a severe gluten allergy so that shows me that they don’t have a great understanding of celiac disease
