Mizlala is counter service Mediterranean/Israeli food. The space is beautiful and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, I got glutened here. I talked to the staff about gluten and dairy allergies and they suggested specific items (falafel and cauliflower.) When the food came, though, the falafel was served with tabouli hidden under a layer of sauce, making it not safe. It was also fried in a shared fryer with gluten-containing sides.Hopefully they’ll make some changes but for now, it’s not Celiac safe.
