Fantastic sushi, bartender was very knowledgeable and circled everything I could order (including rolls with substitutions!)
Edit: apparently the sushi rice is NOT gluten free, which explains why I got sick last time. Filet Mignon was good, but sad to not be able to get sushi

The sushi rice is not gluten free. The vinegar used to make the rice is not gluten free. It is not safe. Don’t eat here if you have celiac. They will give conflicting information and you will get sick. Ive been giving avocado rolls every week to my celiac daughter for a year and specify every time “separate for person with celiac” and just after this order today received a call back from the restaurant telling me that their rice is not gluten free. We are fastidious about her gluten free diet and have struggled with her still having stomach issues and now I know why.

We went into the restaurant to order takeout (since I had to account for GF needs and online it doesn’t have anyway to navigate that) and the staff and manager were patient, kind, and accommodating for GF needs. Their menu is not labeled GF but the server was helpful when I told her I’m allergic to wheat and told me my options and pointed out others that are not normally GF but they could make it GF for me. After ordering the manager noted that they would put the specifically made roll that is normally not GF in a separate and bag and labeled well. They also gave me well labeled GF soy sauce (and I had forgotten to ask for that so that was a wonderful surprise). The waitress at the pick up line for takeout walked me through all of the rolls and showed me where my GF rolls were and the GF soy sauce was in the bags. It was all hands on deck to help me - such a special place and they were busy too! Ordered the rainbow roll (which is GF as is) and the Mr. Bean roll which they made GF for me.
