Mo' Betta Gumbo

I ate fried green tomatoes! Oh man, I never thought I'd be able to do that again. And the shrimp and asiago grits are amazing. Dyna was our server and she was great! I did get sick the next day, but I'm not sure if it was just because I'd been having a bad week (which I had), or if it was from that meal. I'd like to try again during a good week and see if I get sick or not.

The staff here isn't as knowledgeable as they should be abput the gluten free items on the menu, as when I called there was a lot of confusion about if they had gluten free items or not available. However, their menu is clearly marked with the gluten free items available. I was also able to speak with Clay, who is the head chef and owner, who said that he could prepare the gumbo gluten free if I ordered it in a gallon size!! It seems that Clay knows the concerns of gluten free, and is able and willing to accommodate us!! Woo hoo!!
