Got the pork tacos. Subbed the rice for the gf poblano rice per thier gluten free menu (posted online on thier website). Talk to server. Me and my sister are celiac and no reactions! Chips are not gf no dedicated fryer so don't eat those. Margheritas were good! Have a dairy allergy got black beans no cheese as well

The tamales are really good. They have gluten free rice you can sub. Don't eat chips- not a dedicated frier. Did not get sick the few times I've been here. Update: ate here in April 2021, after tasting the “corn” tortillas and having that gluten texture in my mouth I panicked. The manager came over to show me each type of tortilla and insisted they were corn even though they looked exactly like the flour tortilla. Was sick for a few days from the one bite I ate. Don’t think I’ll be able to eat here for a very long time.

We used to eat here a lot. I never had a problem when I ordered the enchiladas rancheras. This time I ordered a tamale and taco combo. The plate came out with a flour tortilla instead of the corn one I asked for. The manager argued with me about it and actually had me in tears. Not planning on going back.

5/6 times I’ve been here, I’ve had no trouble at all— no cross-contamination, no accidental inclusions if gluten-containing ingredients, etc. However, I ordered takeout from them today (8/14, on a Friday night) and was definitely glutened from my chicken salad. I’m thinking it’s because they were really busy and may not have had the time to be as cautious as they normally are with gluten-free stuff. I definitely recommend this place when it’s not as busy, and it’s always good to call first and confirm that they know you have celiac disease.
The gluten-free options are delicious and served in huge portions, especially the enchiladas. I wouldn’t know that the gluten-free items are gluten-free— they don’t have that distinct taste/texture!
While they are knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross-contamination, accidents can still happen because they don’t have a dedicated GF kitchen, just a prep space.

Waitress was knowledgeable and steered me towards the gluten free beans and rice options (pinto or black and cilantro lime rice). She confirmed that the corn tortillas are fried in a separate space than the flour ones. Overall, my Pollo a la Parilla dish was phenomenal!

Love the food and they were very good about discussing GF options with me. They’re well educated on the need for clean and belly friendly food. Will definitely return when I’m back in the area! Delicious food!

I eat here often and every time the staff are great, the food is amazing, and I NEVER get sick. All of the servers I've had are knowledgeable about knowing what I can and can't have once I tell them Im celiac and have to eat GF. The corn chips are not cooked in a dedicated fryer so just a heads up. The salsa is super fresh and addicting.

I want to commend our server... he informed me that the refuted beans had flour in them! I’ve heard of other places doing that... I have what may be refractive celiac so I really need to know what’s in my food :(
DANGER- after explaining gluten allergy and ordering from GF menu - I received my flat grilled tortillas stacked on top of the flour tortillas. Ok. I just won’t eat the bottom one. Then Halfway thru my poblano cilantro GF rice the color changes and I find the non-GF rice at the bottom. They had totally mixed them together. Ordered the chicken ala Parrilla. It was an absolute overlooked hockey puck and burnt on the outside. Totally disgusted with this restaurant. Also warning- prior posts state that the chips are now GF in dedicated fryer. Manager confirmed to us that this is NOT true. No dedicated fryer at this location (Tacoma).

Really good carna sada enchiladas! They replace Spanish rice for another kind of rice and black beans! Although chips are not gluten free! Didn't find that out till after I ate them! They fry them in same fryer as other items! Overall it was good!
