We stopped by this restaurant while traveling through town, and we were excited to hear that the menu had a good selection of GF items. The restaurant has a homey feel, and is a wonderful break from some of the more pretentious GF places. You order at the front, then get your drink and sit down with an order number visible. They bring your food to the table. Kirsten (spelling?) helped us decide what to order, and she was so nice - she was very knowledgeable about the menu and what was safe. She was patient with all of our questions as well. We picked pulled pork with a variety of sides (slaw, baked beans, and potato salad). The standard BBQ sauce is GF. The platters usually come with cornbread, and they allowed us to trade that out for an extra side. The baked beans were so delicious! I enjoyed the potato salad - but be careful if you do not like spicy food. It does have a bit of jalapeño in it. The slaw was not our favorite, but I think that is because we are used to Mayo-based slaw. The cost for the whole meal was affordable, including the kids’ meals ($6.50 each, includes a drink). Overall, we had great service and enjoyed the meal. We will definitely return when we are in town again.
