My friend with celiac and I came here last week. We asked for allergy scoops when we ordered, paid, heard the cashier tell the scooper, and watched the person scoop without grabbing new containers or ice cream scoops.

We asked when the ice cream was brought out if they were allergy scoops, only to be told by the person that there is no way they can accommodate that - they don’t have extra tubs of ice cream and they just use whatever scooper is available.

As some of the flavors contain gluten (e.g. cookie dough), there is high risk for contamination. Though there are many flavors seemed “gluten free.”

We were offered a refund and very turned off by how they handled the situation - they were not very kind and made us feel like we asked an absurd request. They also did not tell us prior to ringing up or scooping that they were unable to be allergy safe and completely disregarded the request - so unsafe!
