The previous commenter is right: the owner/chef is a great man. The food is unfortunately bland and the meat has always been dry. I love Moroccan food, but I probably won't return to this restaurant.

The head chef/owner is very friendly and eager to learn about gluten free needs. He sat with me for a few minutes to talk about it and what he could do to serve his growing number of gluten free patrons- let him know you're gluten free and he will discuss options right away. Dishes automatically safe: salad, veggies, meat, (amazing) green tea (you have to get the green tea). If you get a platter make sure you say no bread. His recipe right now for his rice does include little bits of pasta but he is happy to make you fresh clean rice if you ask. He even offered to cook me fresh buckwheat. Great guy. Great place.
