I am celiac. They are very conscious of gluten. One of the owners is gluten free so she knows the parameters of the gluten free diet. You MUST tell them that you are gluten free. I am VERY impressed and satisfied that my meal is safe.

Be warned. We drove here specifically because of the reviews. But chips, salsas , hard tacos and much more are NOT gluten free. My wife was very disappointed since we drove here from Ventura.

I eat at Money Pancho tonight and it was an Awesome experience. I told the waiter I was Gluten Free and he made sure my meal was Gluten Free. My oder was mad gluten free with Allergy. I feel great no reaction and the chips and Salsa was Gluten free too.
Apparently a few family members are Gluten Free .
The Margaritas were amazing. Sweet family owned restaurant. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas w beans and rice no cheese with green sauce. So so flavourful.
Most Mexican Restaurants can not support the gluten free /celiac world.
I found my new hang out.

The owner of this awesome Mexican food restaurant’s wife is gluten-free, and he will go more than the extra mile to make sure your celiac needs are met. My daughter has celiac disease and he makes sure she gets dedicated cookware, delicious corn tortillas, fries, fruit, beans, rice, all the good stuff! Can’t speak highly enough of this place and it’s owner/staff. They are SO great. Great margaritas, too!

The server checked and informed me that everything on the menu was gluten free except for the flour tortillas and the salsa roja (for enchiladas, etc.). He recommended a pork dish which was delicious and caused no ill effects.
