Many GF options for both food and sauces. One of my favorites before my diagnosis and so happy I can eat there still. Cashier inquired if GF was preference or Celiac and made note for staff to change gloves. Runner who brought food confirmed my food was GF. Felt safe eating here.

Last reviewer posted the GF menu, which is still accurate. Pastrami is the bomb. Got modified “The Piglet,” which is a half serving of (almost) all the meats. Texas Hot Links are NOT GF, so they subbed another meat. Sauces leaned a little sweet for my taste.

Many of the items are GF and there is a menu posted on the front of the cash register (I posted a picture of it). They asked the kitchen to change their gloves before boxing up my food. The brisket was delicious. It isn’t a dedicated kitchen so there is a risk of cross contamination.

Absolutely loved the food! The potato salad and pastrami were incredible. Staff was kind and had an gluten allergen protocol. I feel great and the portions were just right. Will absolutely return.

Staff was knowledgeable and the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the brisket, potato salad, and pickles and all were awesome. I asked them to change their gloves for my order and they were very accommodating. Will definitely come back!

Staff made sure to tell the kitchen the order was gluten free and requested they change gloves. My take out box came out clearly marked “gluten free, change gloves”
Big sign with gluten free items available. Almost all meats, most sides, and all sauces but two are gluten free. I ordered the brisket, smashed potatoes, and used the house and raspberry sauces. The food was delicious and I did not have any reaction.

Gluten free options are clearly posted at the counter where you order, and staff was friendly and very patient with and understanding of all of our questions. I have celiac and am very sensitive to cross contamination and did not get sick. We will be back!

This will be a little long. I was so excited to go there because of so many great recommendations from multiple sources, including here. My experience was completely different. When ordering I asked which sauces were gluten free. An employee said, with great authority, that they all were. After ordering a rack of ribs, I went to taste the sauces to see what I liked. I got through half when I saw one labeled stout. I went back to the employee and he said that it was gluten free, that the alcohol is cooked out. I told him that the alcohol has nothing to do with gluten, and that gluten cannot be cooked out.
He then stated that the vinegar ones were also not safe, that the packaging says it may contain gluten. Why did he not say that before? So I double checked that their original sauce was fine, they said yes.
When they called my order, I noticed how dried out the ribs were. These were seriously the worst ribs I have ever eaten. I took them back to the counter and asked to speak to the manager. While waiting for my replacement ribs, I spoke with her. She said they recently changed the sauce recipes, and she believed the original sauce, and most of the others had a flour slurry mixed in. I had already eaten some of it.
Then the cook came over and contradicted her, saying it was cornstarch only. The second ribs were still mediocre at best.
The lack of knowledge and understanding of gluten free was disturbing, I recommend anyone on a gluten free diet stay far away.

GF menu is posted right at the register. Wrote “Gluten Free” in big letters onto the top center of my platter without being asked to notify the kitchen - on their game!

This BBQ establishment was recommended to me by the owners of Happy Creek Coffeehouse(This coffeehouse is 100% gf, go there!). All their meats are gf, and there are 5 sides we can choose from. There are 7 sauces we can have too. I got the pulled pork, which was excellent especially with the raspberry chipotle merlot sauce. I also got portions of the collard greens, baked beans, slaw and potato salad to try. While I like some more than others, I didn't regret any of them. Highly recommend this place.
