Their gluten free buns are great. I’ve had a salad, the authentic philly, and the Italian hoagie. All three were amazing! Seriously delicious!! They will also bake the fries to avoid cross contamination in the fryer.

When I visit Chicago I always visit Monti's, usually more than once! Having a celiac-safe philly cheesesteak makes having celiac disease more tolerable!

Amazing food! I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with provolone cheese (bread reminds me of the Udi’s French roll). The staff is definitely aware of cross contamination and even knew to mention they could bake the fries instead of frying them (still delicious) since I was ordering a GF sandwich. Nice quick meal for a Saturday afternoon. Will definitely be going back! This is a must try!!

Best cheesesteak EVER and the gluten free bread is the best I’ve had.

Yummy philly cheesteak with gluten free bread! I’ve had some pretty poor gluten free bread, but this one was delicious. They also were able to bake the French fries so that they would be gluten free. Only criticism was that my sister got a salad and paid full dinner salad price, but it was quite small.

Oh my word! I can’t believe I’ve been living less than a mile from this place for years and haven’t tried it before today. It’s absolutely delicious! Had the South Side Johnny version of their GF Philly cheesesteak and was blown away by how amazing it was. This quickly became my new favorite spot in the neighborhood! Plenty of ciders to choose from, and even one GF beer. They really understand gluten free, too, and offer baked fries. Thank you, Monti’s!

Gluten free bun is back! I’ve had the bun and it’s so tasty but I also still love ordering the fries baked and putting the cheesesteak on top. A go to place for me!!

They no longer do the gluten free bun, but do have other options available. I had the meat and cheese over fries as the recommended and it was delicious.

Monti's is so good! The Philly cheesesteaks are amazing and the gf bread is good too. The staff seems very knowledgeable and I always feel safe eating here! Sadly the fries aren't gf. And the sandwiches are a bit greasy, but obviously that is expected. Definitely worth it!

We love Monti's! Very family friendly place and great service. The baked fries are gluten free and you can order them with toppings. I always get the Philly cheesesteak when I am here. Gluten free rolls are fantastic!

Fries are excellent baked, and then gluten free. Pricey but good. They really up charge you for gf bun. I bring extra business just because they offer it, I always drag my friends in. Cool place

Delicious Philly cheesesteak. Servers are knowledgable as to what is safe to eat. Fries unfortunately are not okay due to cross contamination.

I eat here probably to much. No dedicated fryer, so no fries. But cheese stake,yes please. With extra cheese sauce, please.
