Gluten free items are not marked on the menu, and many things do have gluten. As far as I could tell, there's no GF bread or buns available and the tacos are made with flour tortillas. So your best choices are BBQ plates or nachos. None of the desserts are GF.
I spoke with the owner/pitmaster, and he assured me there is no gluten in the barbecued meat. He also said "There's worcestershire sauce, but there's no gluten in it." I think that was referring to the BBQ sauce.
I got brisket and the 3 sides that are GF (the beans are made with beer). The food is ... okay. Not the best BBQ I've had, and not the worst. The lean brisket was a bit dry, and the fatty brisket was pretty juicy. The apple cider cole slaw was very good. I'm not a huge fan of mayo potato salad (I prefer German-style), but at least it has a little mustard for kick. They say the creamed corn is made with heavy cream, and it was really heavy on the cream -- more cream than corn.
So, overall, I won't be going out of my way to come back. (And I live around the corner.)
