Excellent choice for Celiacs, but be warned. Restaurant is located in a private gated community. Depending on the guard on duty, you may be refused entry. It’s happened to us now on a couple lunch-time occasions, today being our proverbial last straw. Yes, this was not our first visit & we told the guard we were there to eat at the Restaurant which is supposed to be open to the public, yes we surrendered our photo licenses for security copies, but again we were refused entry for lunch. No rhyme, no reason. We double checked that they were open before making the drive. As local retirees we tried today to bring our adult children visiting from out of state for a fun safe celebratory lunch & we’re dressed up for the occasion. Guard was not having it. He flatly refused to let us in, and was extremely rude. On occasions where we were successfully admitted, the Morgan River Grill is nice, and menu is a Celiac dream, the food is usually good, but what a hassle. Wish they had selected a location in a more welcoming place. I recommend trying their sister restaurant Madison’s located in Port Royal instead, food if virtually the same & you are never treated like a criminal for trying to support a local restaurant.
