Friendly service, decent food. Watch out for the fries! Ate a few and instantly felt like I’d be glutened. Decent GF options though!

This upscale cafe in downtown seattle has a menu that is labeled with gluten free, vegan, and dairy free items. The food is presented in a manner consistent with the atmosphere, which is to say that there is an element of luxury. I ordered the tortilla española, which actually has a lot in common with potatoes au gratin. My wife ordered the butternut squash hummus. Both dishes were very tasty and served with a minimum of delay. I also ordered a cappuccino which was strong with thick foam and a neat decorative pattern on the top.
We’re both very pleased with our breakfast choice.

The drinks are good, but I was told everything in the kitchen is cross contaminated with gluten at some point and was advised by the server not to order any food. Would be nice if they kept a cleaner kitchen so I could at least order some of the items like the olives.

While they are pretty knowledgeable and happy to give you information on ingredients, they don’t have a dedicated toaster, sadly. I’m dying to try their avocado toast! I typically just get a soft boiled egg and a side of fruit or something. Their lattes are delicious and their syrups are homemade. I love this place, just wish I could eat more!
Server was aware of gluten free and offered the gf bread. Awesome service!
