The waitress wasn’t familiar with the meaning of gluten free. There is a gluten free menu on their website and I showed her what I wanted from it. She mostly followed my request. I had upset stomach at 4 am.

Everyone loved it! However, no real GF option other than salad without meat. All seasonings are gluten filled, all sides including rices, soups, etc. They say ‘grilled’ items without seasoning are safe but share the same grill. I ate plain salad and small corn on cob. Wouldn’t recommend for celiacs.

There are only a couple things that are on the menu that are gluten free. Grilled catfish, grilled alligator, grilled shrimp or chicken. You get rice and vegetables with it. We had the shrimp and catfish and they weren't very good. The vegetables had so much seasoning on them they were almost inedible. Would recommend skipping this place.

I pulled up their GF menu online and decided to go with the grilled shrimp, the GF menu didn't include the baked potato so just to be extra safe on my first night in the city, I got the grilled veggies. I also made sure to tell the waiter that I needed these extra precautions. I finished eating and was sick within 15 minutes. The food was great but even the GF menu was not safe.

Ordered grilled catfish gluten free - they modified the sides (rice and vegetables), but they still covered the fish in flour. I had it sent back and they brought out a different piece of fish coated in flour. This was all with GLUTEN FREE listed on the bill I received.

The wait staff assured me they had gluten free items. The waitress pulled out that famous card & under "gluten-free" it stated FLOUR. You need to be extremely specific about your needs for NO gluten.

Considerate of celiac concern. Expensive, but didn't make me sick!

Today we enjoyed perfectly cooked grilled gator bites as an appetizer and perfectly seasoned grilled shrimp with veggies and rice for dinner. They didn't specifically have a GF menu but rather a laminated list of entrees and sides that could be prepared without gluten. I would definitely plan to go back next time we visit NOLA.
When I asked about gluten free items the waiter pulled out a card that listed the GF things on the menu that I could choose from, so even though the menu itself doesn't have this information, the wait staff is prepared and knowledgeable. Food was very good with lots of flavor.

Our server was VERY knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what wasn't. And she knew things needed to be cooked separately to avoid CC. Very pleased!
