Good comfort food and lovely staff. My waitress knew about coeliac disease and what I could have off the menu. She also made a note to the kitchen that I was coeliac. Overall, I felt really safe eating here.

Really good restaurant with tipical food. Not pricy at all. Zero contamination effects afterwards ;) I recommend It! The home made Sauseges were all gf and really really good

No actual gluten free menu, but staff knowledgeable on gluten free options available. Staff advised the boss was coeliac and therefore aware of difficulties in cross contamination. Food was delicious, would recommend the breakfast.

So nice that they have gluten free options. And they’re good. BUT.. check with server that they are giving you the correct plate as they handed me the wrong one and said it was the gf breakfast when it wasn’t. We didn’t realise until we’d eaten most of our food.

Had a fantastic meal! I also have a dairy allergy in addition to celiac and they were super accommodating. Had the haggis (gluten free, meat) with vegan mash and it was phenomenal. Staff also assured me that my meal would be prepared in a separate area of the kitchen to minimize potential cross contamination. Highly recommend for Scottish comfort food!

I was a little hesitant at first after walking in and seeing the menu, but the wait staff was awesome! I went here two different times while in Edinburgh and both times the waiters knew what celiac was. One told me they have their own pots and pans for gluten free food and has celiac themselves. I ended up getting haggis both times because it was one of the few places I could actually try it! I’d absolutely go here again.

Great spot for some GF comfort food! The menu is a bit confusing for CC so best to speak to a waiter. That being said, they were very knowledgeable about coeliac and made me feel safe eating there. Had the shepherds pie, it was delicious.

MUMS is the best non dedicated gluten free spot I've ever been to. Both the manager and one of the waitress are celiacs, and they're super accommodating and knowledgeable about cross contamination (apart from being really cool). I was bummed out that the sign at the door said that they could not guarantee cross contamination safety, but this is only because it is not a dedicated gf place. However, the manager explained everything to me, pointed at the safe options on the menu, and made sure that I got my delicious and safe shepherd's pie and a great gf IPA. We went again for breakfast a couple days later and the waitress, who was not serving our table (celiac herself), made sure that everything was safe for me. I cannot recommend it enough!

Lovely restaurant really nice food. Waitress was amazing, she was coeliac herself so helped me to pick out something suitable and then kindly wrote out a list of other places I could eat out at throughout the rest of my trip.

The staff are familiar with Celiac so I felt very safe eating here. Tried the haggis which was great and had the salmon egg sandwich off the breakfast menu. The service was pretty slow but very friendly!

One waitress was celiac and the others were very clear on what was GF. The food was excellent! I really loved the crumble dessert. Enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff. Came away stuffed like a happy fat little lamb.

Great lunch at MUMS. Felt super safe and our waitress (who I assume owns the place!) is coeliac so really knew her stuff.

Was able to finally try Gluten free haggis! Highly recommend the entree size just to give it a go.

The flavored mashed potato is also a nice touch. I had garlic mushroom for my bangers and mash and it was very tasty.

The food here is great. Had some excellent sausage and mash. The mash and gravy are made in house, and the sausage has such a great flavor. Lots of GF options. The staff is very knowledgeable (some are celiacs themselves) and helpful. Highly recommend for a Scottish staple!

Our waitress Nisha was incredibly helpful with celiac needs. I had the sausages and mash and a GF IPA, all phenomenal. She recommended other celiac friendly places in Edinburgh to try as we are on holiday. Fabulous food and experience!

Almost the whole menu can be made gf. The staff is very knowledgeable, so just ask and they can assist you! Food is delicious. Great comfort food. Fun experience for trying haggis for the first time. What more could you ask for?

What a lovely little place, was made to feel so welcome even though busy. The guy working was so happy and jolly, he was so nice to our daughter. Nice to find a place with a lovely and varied range of gluten free food, the knowledge from the guy was also incredible.

Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with GF! Fully understand cross contamination and most of the menu can be prepared gluten free. Fries are not gf but they will replace with any of their mashed potatoes!
