My Daddy's Cheesecake Bakery and Cafe

This place was amazing for my celiac son! Gluten free bread/wraps and several desserts to choose from. He picked a chocolate tort. The rest of the non GF items were great too! Support this place - delish!

The only GF offerings were a small package of ginger cookies and I was told they had a GF bun. I asked if the sandwich contents were GF too and the response was “Well what else could have gluten in it besides the bun?”

I explained that the sandwich meat or seasonings could, to which the cashier said that no one there would know the answer to that.

They have GF options but are not knowledgeable of celiac protocol or which food products (beyond those marked) contain gluten which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars. They have GF chocolate chip cookies and small GF cheesecakes which are all packaged separately. Now they even carry GF buns for their lunch menu. The desserts are safe I'm just not sure about the non-dessert items since they don't seem to know either. One of the ladies really did try to help me.
