Options are very limited. The chips not being safe was a big disappointment. My server was pretty knowledgeable about the menu, which was a plus. I customized a taco order and it just did not turn out well. The corn soft tortillas were just not very tasty. The warning on the menu is spot on - the restaurant will cater to someone with a gluten free diet, but it isn’t recommended for someone gluten free for medical reasons.

We went to the North Beach location and were very pleased. Mika, our server, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Burrito bowl was outstanding. Can’t have the chips but next visit we will bring our own.

Chips and queso are not gluten free. My son had rice and steak and we brought our own chips. Couldn’t determine if the shredded cheese was gf, so he ate salsa.

Definitely can get GF and it was safe for me. Has corn tortillas, they know what’s good and not good for GF. Food was delicious!

For me disappointing. I would have given it 2.5 stars if that were an option mainly because I would have liked nachos or guacamole and neither were on the GF menu (which they had). The GF menu consisted of Gringo Tacos (shredded) chicken or pork or Carolina Kid tacos; Nacho Hippo salad (no beef or tortilla strips), fire roasted veggies,rice and beans.

Really cool unique atmosphere, gluten free menu, staff somewhat knowledgable, I was able to eat Gringo chicken taco and shrimp taco on corn shell and did not get sick.

perhaps there are food options that maybe gluten friendly but most certainly celiacs should be extra careful especially if you're even considering drinking what they considered to be gluten free beer I was not aware of the beer of which was offered , I never heard of it and yet I drink it and to my demise suffered badly for it my suggestion drink some gluten-free liquor brand rather than the beer avoid yourself heartache... Better yet have a hard cider that's gluten free

Not very knowledgeable wait staff

I ate here without getting sick, the food was good, but I don't feel like they are really celiac friendly, so be careful. I had the kamikaze and the gringo..I ordered the grilled shrimp taco but it came out breaded and fried, so I gave that one to my husband. Our waiter didn't seem knowledgeable. There is not a dedicated fryer so nachos are probably out.
