The place was cute and in a fun area but I’ve had better açaí bowls. It looked like they had some good sandwiches that you could do GF, although not sure how the cross contamination would be. I ordered a bowl and she confirmed everything but the granola was safe so that’s what I did. My husband got a bowl as well with no bananas and they specifically asked if it was a preference or allergy which tells me they take allergies seriously.

I wanted a sandwich on gf bread, but it was busy so they said it would take a while to clean the grill and everything, so I ended up getting a salad instead. The salad was fine but nothing special, I was just disappointed because this is one of the few places I was hoping to actually be able to get a sandwich since I know other people say they clean the grill for you

One of my favorite quick eats! Nalu has a lot on the menu that is GF or can be made GF with GF bread (which is made by Myfit bread). Their Açaí bowl is GF without the Granola, you can sub coconut flakes instead. Two of my favorite sandwiches to order are the Grilled Cheese and the Steak Sandwich. Both come with a delicious side salad! My husband also enjoys their coffee drinks. I’ve had the mocha latte & it is quite delicious! I feel completely safe eating here, never had a reaction! Highly recommend!

Everything here is delicious and healthy. Let them know if you have celiac because they will clean the grill first.

I asked the cashier for assistance in determining what was gluten free, and I chose a salad. I added on the ahi tuna, and she said not to get the sauce. Unfortunately I forgot to make sure that the grill was not contaminated with gluten. I'm a silent celiac so I can't say if that was a problem or not. But I could have had the salad by itself and it would have been a complete meal.
