My son has celiac disease and we explained to the waitress that he had to be totally gluten free. He ordered the gluten free pasta. It came out and had a regular noodle in it. I explained that he could not eat it and told them he would probably get sick. She kind of apologized then told us that was the last of the gluten free noodles. So we had to go somewhere else to eat. They were not very apologetic and made me pay for my meal even though we had to leave so my son could eat.
