Waiter was very accommodating to ensure celiac safety. No GF menu.
Fresh grilled fish is safe (grilled in separate area than any other foods) as well as anything without ponzu. Ceviche without chips. Anything not fried. Handrolls with fish and avocado/cucumber (or other proper substitutions i.e. no fake crab or no tempura or no ponzu/soy sauce). Seared scallops. Sautéed vegetables (so good!)
I think our server was very knowledgeable but I would imagine that you should always ask to make sure the server knows what the difference between gluten free and celiac safe food is.
The food was amazingly cooked and surprisingly had no allergic reactions or stomach issues.
