New China Restaurant

Ordered takeout for my partner and me. I was told on the phone that everything except appetizers can be made GF. I got Canton curry with chicken and my partner got pork lo mein. I think both meals were made GF even though mine was the only one that needed to be - it looked like his was made with rice noodles instead of lo mein noodles. We were both very happy with our meals and I felt fine after the fact!

You're definitely taking your chances. I went a few times and everything was ok, then I got glutened pretty bad. Also, the food really isn't very good, unfortunately.

The GF curry chicken is really good, but man it has a kick to it!! I was HANGRY when I went here, was thinking I would have to leave as there was no options on the menu, but after talking to our waitress she told me their options. So be prepared to ask about what they have or what you can eat (which to me is a tad frustrating, I want it on the menu!!)

All in all, I would go back...check it out!!

WOW! Everything on the menu except egg rolls and crab rangoon can be made gf! they have a special gf batter to use for the breaded dishes. I grew up in Ashland and loved this place. now that I'm gf I'm super excited to be able to eat here again when I come back to visit.

After reading the reviews here, we decided to give this place a try. They were VERY happy to accommodate our needs and were willing to make just about anthing on the menu GF. They had a gf breading to make sweet and sour chicken for my daughter and General Tsao's chicken for me - eaten w/out any reaction. My non-gf hubby enjoyed his meal as well.

You will be hard pressed to find a restaurant that works so hard for wonderful gluten free food. Tony, the owner, is the BEST!

They always go the extra mile for gluten free. Try the Fong Wong Chicken.
