Edited at top with second visit several weeks later:
I was mildly glutened by the champagne cake. In addition, the customer service dropped off precipitously, and the presences of gfree menu items had been cut down to two. The fryer is no longer safe, either, so no more poutine!—I no longer felt welcomed or safe as someone with celiac disease. I’m not sure if staffing changes, or if they gave up on truly offering gluten free food, but I was deeply disappointed.
Shared kitchen with excellent cross contamination prevention. I had delicious gluten free vegan breakfast poutine, an orange mocha made with hemp milk, and a golden beet based fresh juice. Everything was delicious and I had no problem. I ordered one of each of their gluten free pastries to take home for my family.
Their prices are very reasonable for the quality!
Pastry review after nibbling on a corner of each variety:
Cakes are moist and delicious.
Brownies are solid/decent.
Coffee cakes are kinda tart-like and I think they would be great with coffee.
Muffin tops are terrible—dry and tasteless.
