Review of New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company

I'm giving it a 4 because the ordering process was stressful. Ruben is no longer there. The manager I dealt with didn't understand the gluten free guide as well as I did. You order at the counter and a line backed up behind me while we tried to figure it out. The guide states what is not gluten free and how you can modify it to make it GF What you need to know - the fries are coated in wheat. The shrimp and catfish are fried in a GF batter separately from the fries. The oyster batter has gluten. Sounds like if you had a knowledgeable staff they could have made the oysters and onion rings GF. But mine was not. After all that ordering, They brought my fried shrimp and catfish platter on top of bread. They quickly apologized and brought me fresh food after I pointed it out. Despite the pain of ordering, the food was good. So awesome to have fried seafood again. And I didn't get sick so that's what's important!
