Review of Nick & Jake's

Was excited to visit Nick and Jake's because they have a Gluten-Free menu. However, the attitude of the manager will prevent me from returning. One of the items on the Gluten-Free menu was French fries. I questioned the server and found that the fries were prepared in fryers that also processed gluten products and so were not truly Gluten-Free. With my patient server, I found out what I could eat. On my way out I asked to speak with the manager, hoping to have a friendly conversation about improving the Gluten-Free menu. Instead she literally yelled at me that there was nothing wrong with their menu information and "everyone else" thought the menu was good enough. I am a celiac. It was NOT good enough, and the attitude that people with food allergies are simply whiners will keep me from trusting Nick and Jake's with my health.
