Review of Nick & Jake's

Review

Previous reviews said the menu selections were limited, and there were few choices, but there were nearly a dozen burgers and sandwiches, most of the salads, and quite a few regular entrees to choose from. The menu is a combination of gluten free and dairy free options, and most DF options are simply leaving off one or two ingredients, or specifying no butter or no croutons… And my server was celiac, so she was ready to answer any questions I had, but the menu was very clearly labeled. They did put my Reuben on a gluten free bun, which was a little odd, but it was piled high on the small bun, and the flavor was great. They do highlight the possibility of cross contamination with the fries, but they have chips, slaw, and cottage cheese. I tried a small Nick’s salad, and it was excellent. And they have chocolate cake for dessert, more of a fudge torte, but it looked very good. I would say the prices are a little spendy, but the portions are good, and the flavors were excellent.
