Had to come here to mention it because I didn't know for years... but I just found out and am delighted to know Nick's famous roast beef now offers gluten free Bun... which is delicious. I do not have celiac, I do not ask for them to take special precautions when I order, however I do now have a severe insensitivity and get sick when I have gluten. For the last couple years I have been having the chicken kabob salads(best on the North Shore) at Nick's, and throwing away the pita bread due to my insensitivity. Recently I heard someone ask for a gluten free bud on their large beef 3 way and my eyes lit up. I haven't had one for years from Nick's! Now I'm back every other week and so far the bun and sandwiches is better than I ever remember it being. Thanks for making the option available Nick's! I'm now back enjoying some of the food I loved and not getting sick. Hopefully Super Subs will follow suit! (I do not speak for anyone with celiac, if you have celiac you may want to call and inquire yourself about precautions to prevent contamination.... however the gentleman I overhead ordering told me his son has celiac and that's who he was ordering for.)
